1. Background
I am currently in the seventh semester of my Business Informatics program at the University of Bremen. In preparation for this semester, I made a conscious decision to undertake a series of academic and professional pursuits that would enable me to broaden my horizons, expand my skill set, and gain valuable life experiences.

To this end, I chose to write my thesis and complete two exams abroad while simultaneously pursuing an internship. My motivation for doing so was twofold: firstly, the opportunity to immerse myself in new cultures, meet new people, and gain a fresh perspective on the world. Secondly, I recognized the immense value that hands-on, practical experience would bring to my academic endeavors, both in terms of personal growth and professional development.

2. Porsche Central and Eastern Europe and my internship role
Porsche Central and Eastern Europe (PCEE) is the regional subsidiary of Porsche AG, responsible for the distribution, marketing, and sales of Porsche vehicles and services in Central and Eastern Europe. The region covers 25 countries, including Czech Republic, Greece, Estonia, Armenia, Hungary, and others. The Business Development Team at PCEE is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities in the region. This includes the sub teams Network Development, E-Performance, Digital Business and Porsche Connect where I worked as an Intern. The Porsche Connect Team is responsible for the development and implementation of the Porsche Connect system, a digital platform that connects Porsche drivers with their vehicles and provides a range of services to enhance the driving experience. This includes features such as remote access and control of vehicle functions, real-time traffic information, and personalized recommendations based on driver behaviour. Throughout my internship, I was responsible for a range of daily activities that encompassed, inter alia, the curation of multiple presentations, in-depth exploration of Smart Mobility-oriented subject matters, and the preparation of two comprehensive reports. In a testament to my proclivity for innovation and optimization, I automated the dispatch of reporting via Power Automate and augmented the dashboard’s efficacy with the use of PowerBi. Another notable contribution I made during my tenure was spearheading the planning and execution of a three-day Smart Mobility Workshop in Stuttgart, a collaborative effort undertaken with my fellow team members.

3. My living experience in Prague and some tips
Prague is a beautiful city located in the heart of Europe, known for its stunning architecture, rich history, and vibrant cultural scene. I had the luck that my company rented out a flat in Vinohrady which is located just a few minutes from the city center. In addition Prague is very well located to do nice weekend trips to Vienna, Bratislava or Budapest which is really nice.

During my internship, I had the pleasure of residing in Prague, a charming city situated in the heart of Europe, famed for its breathtaking architecture, rich historical significance, and lively cultural landscape.
Fortunately, my company had secured a flat for me in the vibrant neighborhood of Vinohrady, just a stone’s throw away from the city center. This location enabled me to experience the vibrant pulse of the city firsthand and gain a deeper understanding of its many cultural offerings.

Moreover, Prague’s enviable location also made it the perfect base for weekend getaways to neighboring European cities such as Vienna, Bratislava, and Budapest, each offering its own unique attractions and cultural experiences. Overall, my time in Prague was truly remarkable, and the city’s rich cultural heritage, stunning architecture, and prime location made it an ideal destination for personal and professional growth.

4. Conclusion
The Erasmus internship in Prague was a life-changing experience for me. I was able to develop practical working skills, teamwork abilities, and expand my startup business skills. Thanks to the Erasmus scholarship, I was financially supported during my stay in Prague, which allowed me to enjoy my time there to the fullest. Prague quickly became one of my favorite cities in the world, and I highly recommend it as a destination for anyone seeking personal and professional growth. Not only did I learn how to work effectively in a multicultural environment, but I also made many new friends, enjoyed the culinary sites, nightlife, and cultural experiences that the city had to offer.
