Dear students,

those of you who cannot access the e-learning platform Stud.IP can find the course catalogue here: https://www.uni-bremen.de/en/studies/starting-your-studies/course-catalog

Scroll down on the respective webpage to find FB 10 and the MA E-SC program. Important for you in this first semester are the courses in the Orientation Module (OrMo). Get in touch by e-mail with the respective member of faculty if you would like to register for a seminar.

Welcome to the MA program English-Speaking Cultures: Language, Text, Media at the University of Bremen!

All students enrolled for the upcoming winter term are cordially invited to attend several welcome and information sessions (see also https://www.uni-bremen.de/uni-start-portal/owoche/ext/week/events/301 for a summary):

1) Information sessions organised by the StugA (the student representatives)

 

2) Information sessions organised by the program directors and faculty

Welcome session to inform students about the University of Bremen, introducing faculty members, the study program and areas of specialisation, counselling services etc.

!!! Attention: submitting your documents for the AWE modules

!!! IMPORTANT NOTICE !!!

Please make sure to submit all of the required documentation for both AWE1 and AWE2 using the correct form and in one portfolio, preferably by sending it by post to my university address or as one .pdf-file by e-mail. I can and will no longer accept image files and single documents sent one by one in a handful of e-mails. Please make sure to submit everything in a readable and orderly manner. Thank you!

Selection process for winter term 2020/21 completed

The selection committee has completed its work on the applications for the winter term 2020/21. All accepted students should have received a notification through the application system. Please send any visa-related requests to master@uni-bremen.de or apply@uni-bremen.de. This also applies to requests for a so-called “Präsenznachweis” (i.e. that selected courses require you to be on campus in case you need this for yor visa application).

We are looking forward to welcoming you to the program soon. Details on how we will deal with the special circumstances in times of the pandemic will follow soon.
