Important welcome information for newly enrolled students (winter term 2019/20)

Welcome to the M.A. programme English-Speaking Cultures: Language, Text, Media at Bremen University!

Welcome sessions and introduction to the study programme

All students enrolled for the upcoming winter term are cordially invited to attend several welcome and information sessions (see also https://www.uni-bremen.de/uni-start-portal/owoche/ext/week/events/301 for a summary):

1) Information sessions organised by the StugA (the student representatives)

“We save you from the initial overload with a casual presentation of the course of studies from the 1st to the 4th semester of the Master’s degree. Together we will create an exemplary timetable for the first semester and answer your questions. Master students are welcome!”

–> Monday, October 7th, 2019, 10-12:00, GW2 building, room B 3.200 <–

After this session the StugA invites you for a joint lunch in the student refectory (“Mensa”) (for Bachelor and Master, self paid) where you can get to know each other and the StugA members better. They will also explain to you how to apply for a “Mensacard” and what you can use it for. Bring some change and your student ID! If you want to apply for a “Mensacard”, you will need a deposit of 5€ and some extra money to charge your card. Meet at 11:45 am. in the GW2 building, room B.2880 to go to the Mensa.

On Thursday, October 10th, 2019 (4-6 pm), and Friday, October 11th (9am – 12), the StugA will also offer Q&A sessions where you can ask all sorts of questions about your study program. Come to the StugA room in the GW2 building, B 3.200.
