How did I use semi-standardised interviews?

Having been a participant of the classes I examine and having described some sessions with the method of thick description, I had already formed certain assumptions and hypotheses before I conducted the interviews. These were incorporated into the interview guides  which I prepared in advance of the interviews.

In my research, the opportunity for evaluation by the interviewee was made available in form of comments made on this blog. All interviewees were invited to comment on the thick descriptions of the classes and the excerpts of their interviews. Unfortunately, none of the participants has used this option.

After collecting the data in form of audio-recordings, I made the material accessible through transcriptions. To find out more, please click here.
