In this blog there will be some information and results of our studytrip to Istanbul from 11.09.-17.09.2017.
We are a group of students from Bremen University studying cultural studies (BA). The main source of this trip is the Constantinopel Diary of Ulrich Jasper Seetzen, a german scientist, who travelled from 1802-1803 to Istanbul and who described in a detailed and reflected manner his observations of everydays live in the capital of the ottoman empire.
