Symposium completed – thank you!

As we completed the symposium last Thursday we would like to thank all participants, on-site and online, for their talks that made for a very interesting and thought-provoking symposium. We will contact you in due course about publication plans. Further updates can be found on a project page on Researchgate.

Best wishes

Marcus Callies and Stefanie Hehner

Mid-June update on the status of the symposium

As the public restrictions implemented due to the pandemic are relaxed or even partially lifted we are back on track with our plans to hold the meeting as planned at the “Haus der Wissenschaft” in Bremen. Since the event is a symposium with less than 50 participants, we are confident that we will be able to come together in keeping with the current regulations should these be necessary in the fall.

We have received almost twenty very interesting and highly relevant submissions and we will put together an exciting programme for the two days from the contributions we selected. Further information on organisational matters will follow soon.

Of course we will have to react if the pandemic spreads again here in northern Germany and the authorities impose restrictions again. We will inform you as soon as possible if the circumstances require the event to be postponed.

With best regards

Stefanie Hehner and Marcus Callies

Submission deadline expired – Contributions received

The submission deadline has expired on Sunday, March 15th. We are happy to announce we have received a good number of highly relevant and interesting contributions. We are now screening the submissions and will inform contributors about the outcome by early April. We will then also publish the preliminary program.
