The NATIONAL KNOWLEDGE CENTRE FOR VALIDATION OF PRIOR LEARNING is one of VIA University College research centres. VIA is Denmark’s largest university of applied sciences, offering a broad variety of accredited business, social and educational programmes. It develops its programmes in close cooperation with private and public employers – companies, municipalities as well as regional, national and international institutions. NVR IN VIA UC – PROGRAMME FOR VALIDATION OF PRIOR LEARNING
The aim of the programme is to contribute to research and development within the field of validation, to increase and to share knowledge and practice for validation of prior learning – nationally and internationally.
The programme conducts research and development of methodology and practice for documentation and recognition of prior learning – and for further development of competences in a continuous lifelong and life-wide perspective.
In the programme, we cooperate with a wide range of stakeholders, authorities, education & training institutions and organisations in order to secure relevance and theory-practice orientation.
