Metallic materials provide an enormous potential to adjust certain strength values by the chemical composition of the alloy or by the materials processing without significantly changing the modulus of elasticity.

In this chapter we will therefore deal with the mechanisms of strength increase and how these can be used in the industrial environment to adjust the needed strength.
