{"id":29,"date":"2018-12-12T13:08:01","date_gmt":"2018-12-12T12:08:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.uni-bremen.de\/starbiosbremenenglish\/?page_id=29"},"modified":"2020-06-28T15:25:37","modified_gmt":"2020-06-28T13:25:37","slug":"rri-toolbox","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.uni-bremen.de\/starbiosbremenenglish\/rri-toolbox\/","title":{"rendered":"RRI Toolbox"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\"><span title=\"\">RRI Toolbox<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span title=\"\">Background of the RRI toolbox<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"\" title=\"\">Within the framework of the EU-project Starbios2-Structural Transformation to Sustainable BIOSciences-the idea of a RRI Toolbox has emerged.<\/span> <span class=\"\" title=\"\">First, the idea of a Gender Toolbox of the Fraunhofer Institute was taken up and then extended to include the further RRI dimensions &#8222;Societal Engagement&#8220;, &#8222;Education&#8220;, &#8222;Ethics&#8220; and &#8222;Open Access&#8220;.<\/span> <span class=\"\" title=\"\">The toolbox provides a compact overview of measures and practical examples of the University of Bremen regarding the individual RRI dimensions, as well as general information.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class='et-learn-more clearfix'>\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class='heading-more'>Good Practice Examples<span class='et_learnmore_arrow'><span><\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class='learn-more-content'><p>The concept of RRI combines aspects of scientific work and principles, that are followed by many researchers already. To support the implementation of RRI into research projects, current projects at the University of Bremen are analyzed and actions and processes connected to RRI outlined. These examples may facilitate the realization of RRI in future research projects.<\/p>\n<p>The analyses are conducted mainly via internet recherch\u00e9. The project website, reporting about it by funders, stakeholders and press as well as scientific journals and conference websites were investigated. It was modified from the <a href=\"https:\/\/transtepapproach.wordpress.com\/\">TranSTEP<\/a> analysis tool. Many of the projects are not available online any more, but we want to present the following projects as good transfer practice examples.<\/p>\n<p><a
