Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) covers the dimensions of Public Engagement, Gender Equality, Science Education, Open Access, Ethics and Governance.<\/span> It is a broad concept for the critical reflection and development of research and innovation and can be used to promote responsible research and a dialogue between science and society.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The goal of the project STRARBIOS2 is to promote structural changes in the field of RRI.<\/span> Specifically, we would like to promote the following five areas:<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Engagement<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t\t
Involving society with the aim of strengthening research and innovation processes that are cooperative and work with many stakeholders.<\/span> The goal is for (all) social actors to work together throughout the process to align the outcomes with the values, needs and expectations of society.<\/span> For more information about Societal Engagement click here<\/span>.<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n

Gender<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t\t

Education<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t\t
Scientific education focuses on: (1) improving current education processes in order to better equip citizens with the necessary knowledge and skills so that they can participate in debates on research and innovation;<\/span> and (2) increase the number of researchers (promoting scientific talent).<\/span> For more information click here<\/a>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n

Open Access<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t\t

Ethics<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t\t
