Damit wollten wir auf die (historische) Bedeutung von Platt f\u00fcr die Stadt aufmerksam machen, die sich noch heute auf teils subtile Weise im Stadtraum ablesen l\u00e4sst und sich weiterhin auf den st\u00e4dtischen Alltag auswirkt.<\/p>\n<p>Die Ausstellung \u201a\u201aBremen spricht\u2018\u2018 fand von M\u00e4rz bis Mai 2022 im Focke Museum statt, dem Bremer Landesmuseum f\u00fcr Kunst und Kulturgeschichte.<\/p>\n<p>Die Karten wurden beim Plattdeutsch-Wettbewerb der Bremischen B\u00fcrgerschaft \u201a\u201aBest op Platt\u2018\u2018 style=\"font-weight: 400\">Klaar h\u00f6\u00f6rt<\/span> Platt eenfach to de Norden en de Bremers! Man wat is dat mit Plattd\u00fctsch hier? Wat hett dat mit so\u2019n Spraak up sik? Woneem snackt se wo? Wat bed\u00fcded dat in de historie? Spreken dat blot oole minschen? Wi laadt Se in, dat Se sik hier maal umkieken doot!<\/p>\n<p>Niederdeutsch (umgangssprachlich Plattdeutsch) ist eine gesch\u00fctzte Regionalsprache, die in Niedersachsen, Bremen, Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern sowie in den n\u00f6rdlichen Teilen Nordrhein-Westfalens, Sachsen-Anhalts und Brandenburgs gesprochen und verstanden wird. Die gesellschaftliche Bedeutung der Sprache hat sich mit der Zeit ver\u00e4ndert. Von 1350-1550 war sie als (offizielle Schrift-)Sprache der Hanse eine Weltsprache. Der Bremer Roland ist mit seiner Inschrift auf Platt ein Zeuge dieser Zeit. Im 17. und 18. Jahrhundert wurde das Niederdeutsche allerdings vom Hochdeutschen als Schriftsprache in Universit\u00e4ten, sp\u00e4ter auch in der Verwaltung und der Kirche abgel\u00f6st. So setzte sich das Hochdeutsch auch als gesprochene Sprache durch und das Platt verschwand aus dem \u00f6ffentlichen in den privaten Raum. Heute sprechen nur noch 14,6% der Bremer und Bremerinnen (sehr) gut Niederdeutsch.
