The following central questions will be addressed:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>How can future foreign language teachers be prepared for the pedagogical implications of the variability of pluricentric languages?<\/li>\n<li>How can the diversity of pluricentric languages be adequately addressed in language teaching with a view to existing curricula?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This event was organised and held in the context of the research and teaching project &#8220;Varieties of English in Foreign Language Teacher Educa<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.uni-bremen.de\/varieties\/files\/2016\/08\/BMBF_gef\u00f6rdert-vom_deutsch.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-0\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-370\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.uni-bremen.de\/varieties\/files\/2016\/08\/BMBF_gef\u00f6rdert-vom_deutsch-300x213.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"146\" height=\"106\" \/><\/a>tion &#8211; Digital&#8221; for future teachers of English at the University of Bremen.
