Try the five senses exercise. Notice five things you can see. Pick things you don’t normally notice. Notice four things you can feel (touch), the texture of your fingers, the surface of your clothes. Notice three things you can hear. Notice two things you can smell. Lastly, notice one thing you can taste. You can either notice how your mouth tastes right now or drink or eat something that gives you a flavor. Allow your body and mind to be in the now.
