It includes 320 hours of work in the internship institution\/organization and approximately 40 hours for writing the internship report. The module is ungraded. The internship can be completed either in Germany or abroad, full-time, part-time, or across two different employers by arrangement. Completion is recommended in the 3rd semester, but it can be placed in any semester (including semester breaks).<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_accordion admin_label=&#8220;Akkordeon&#8220; _builder_version=&#8220;4.27.4&#8243; open=&#8220;on&#8220; _builder_version=&#8220;4.27.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8220;default&#8220; global_colors_info=&#8220;{}&#8220;]<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The search for an internship in a media company or an organization\/institution that is characterized by media communication takes place independently.<\/li>\n<li>You can seek advice from the internship coordinator, the internship office of FB9, the International Office, and ZeMKI&#8217;s international coordinators.<\/li>\n<li>The internship coordinator must be informed immediately as soon as the internship has been agreed (\u2192 application for approval and copy of the internship contract).<\/li>\n<li>Once the internship has been arranged:\n<ul>\n<li>Fill out the application for approval.<\/li>\n<li>Enclose a copy of the internship contract (<a href=\"https:\/\/elearning.uni-bremen.de\/dispatch.php\/institute\/files\/index\/b4d36f00a0e0226e6315636133cd1f6e?cid=f88ea46211cac0f5403581f3d7602ddc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">template contract<\/a>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Apply via Nextcloud as early as possible:\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/nc.uni-bremen.de\/index.php\/apps\/forms\/s\/zew3qjApzEZkCi83fG3waWbz\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Application form<\/a> (Attention: the form must be completed digitally, this <a href=\"https:\/\/elearning.uni-bremen.de\/dispatch.php\/institute\/files\/index\/b4d36f00a0e0226e6315636133cd1f6e?cid=f88ea46211cac0f5403581f3d7602ddc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PDF<\/a> must be filled out and <a href=\"https:\/\/nc.uni-bremen.de\/index.php\/s\/2BeNiB33F9xjBzT\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">uploaded<\/a>.)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/nc.uni-bremen.de\/index.php\/s\/2BeNiB33F9xjBzT\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Upload<\/a> and place the print version in Dr. Erik Koenen\u2019s mailbox.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Name files correctly as PDFs (e.g., <em>Lastname_Approval.pdf<\/em>, <em>Lastname_InternshipContract.pdf<\/em>).<\/li>\n<li>Status query (processing): <a href=\"https:\/\/nc.uni-bremen.de\/index.php\/s\/Tq9rC9GqPadtiy9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">check status<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Upon application, a permanent relevant part-time professional activity in a media company or an organization\/institution characterized by media communication with a corresponding number of at least 320 working hours from matriculation can also be recognized (a report and an employer\u2019s confirmation of the scope of services must also be submitted).<\/li>\n<li>Relevant work experience prior to enrolment cannot be recognized as a matter of principle.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/et_pb_accordion_item][et_pb_accordion_item title=&#8220;During the Internship&#8220; _builder_version=&#8220;4.27.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8220;default&#8220; global_colors_info=&#8220;{}&#8220; open=&#8220;off&#8220;]<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The internship serves to gain in-depth knowledge of the organization and working methods of a media-specific profession or field.<\/li>\n<li>Practical skills in media and professional fields, particularly in:\n<ul>\n<li>Project management<\/li>\n<li>Social and communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Analysis, conception, and implementation<\/li>\n<li>Media technology skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Students should experience real work situations and pursue activity-specific tasks.<\/li>\n<li>Keeping a work journal is recommended for preparing the report.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/et_pb_accordion_item][et_pb_accordion_item title=&#8220;After the Internship&#8220;
