Accordingly, a <strong>supervisor<\/strong> should be contacted before or early in the 3rd semester because students are advised to register for the <strong>research colloquium<\/strong> with the supervisor of their choice. The time required to complete the thesis is 21 weeks. The examination board may approve a one-time extension of a maximum of 7 weeks upon justified application. The thesis is written as an individual work in English.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Requirements to register your thesis with the exam office (&#8220;Zentrales Pr\u00fcfungsamt&#8221;, ZPA)<\/span> <\/strong>(\u00a76, (2) exam regulations)<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc\">\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">proof of <strong>at least 60 CP<\/strong> with the following modules <strong>completed:<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8211; Orientation Module<br \/>\n&#8211; Using English in the Professional World<br \/>\n&#8211; Supplementary Studies Module<br \/>\n&#8211; Extension Module 1<br \/>\n&#8211; Extension Module 2.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><strong>&#8211;&gt; MA colloquium<\/strong> (\u00a76, (6) exam regulations)<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>A colloquium shall be held for the master&#8217;s thesis. A joint grade is calculated for the thesis and the colloquium.
