Am Beispiel eines Familienbildes der britischen Royals Catherine und William mit Sohn George und Hund Lupo erl\u00e4utert sie verschiedene Bildtraditionen, -funktionen und -medien, die diese Fotografie transportiert und zitiert. Hierbei wird deutlich, dass f\u00fcr das Verstehen der bildlichen Codes ein kulturell erlerntes Verst\u00e4ndnis vonn\u00f6ten ist. Die Rezeption eines Bilder unterscheidet sich demnach je nachdem, wer das Bild anschaut, in welchem kulturellen Zusammenhang es rezipiert wird, welchem Gender sich die betrachtende Person zugeh\u00f6rig f\u00fchlt, wie alt sie ist, an welchem Ort sie rezipiert und in welcher historischen Zeit sie sich befindet.<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #5c3109\"><span style=\"color:
