In the course of our 3rd transnational project meeting, all project partners met in Bremen for two days. During this meeting, we discussed on-going activities, challenges and opportunities. Our main focus during this partner meeting was on the development and design of Manual II – The employer’s perspective.

This Manual comprises the employer’s perspective on the validation of prior non-formal and informal learning and addresses their role in the context of VPL. It especially elaborates how employers can support the VPL process of their employees. Questions that will guide us through our work on the case studies of different employers are, for instance: What is the knowledge of the concept of validating competences among employers? How do companies confirm qualifications obtained through informal and non-formal means? What is the attitude towards improving the competences of their employees among the companies?

During these very productive two days, we exchanged our perspectives and learned a lot from each other in terms of the employer’s role in the respective national context. Once again, the partner meeting was very inspirational and fruitful and stimulated a lot of creative processes amongst the partners.
