When stating that everyone is entitled to them, he tells us that\u00a0<span class=\"tooltips \" style=\"\" title=\"Storytelling\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.uni-bremen.de\/aboriginalstudiesclasses\/2016\/07\/26\/storytelling\/\" target=\"_blank\">his father used to say<\/a><\/span> that even the blackbird outside the window had Human Rights. Throughout the lecture he often asks the students <span class=\"tooltips \" style=\"\" title=\"Sharing knowledge\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.uni-bremen.de\/aboriginalstudiesclasses\/2016\/07\/26\/sharing-knowledge\/\" target=\"_blank\">whether they remember a certain detail and sometimes gets help from one of them<\/a><\/span>. After approximately one third of the lecture, L3 asks a\u00a0<span class=\"tooltips \" style=\"\" title=\"Reflection\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.uni-bremen.de\/aboriginalstudiesclasses\/2016\/07\/26\/reflection\/\" target=\"_blank\">reflection question to think about<\/a><\/span> while he goes on.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>When he talks about a certain UN body he tells the class that <span class=\"tooltips \" style=\"\" title=\"Storytelling\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.uni-bremen.de\/aboriginalstudiesclasses\/2016\/07\/26\/storytelling\/\" target=\"_blank\">he has been to one of its meetings<\/a><\/span>. He describes the atmosphere as\u00a0<span class=\"tooltips \" style=\"\" title=\"Opinions\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.uni-bremen.de\/aboriginalstudiesclasses\/2016\/07\/26\/opinions\/\" target=\"_blank\">very friendly and open-minded<\/a><\/span> but also points out that it is very competitive and difficult to get one&#8217;s voice heard.\u00a0<span class=\"tooltips \" style=\"\" title=\"Storytelling\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.uni-bremen.de\/aboriginalstudiesclasses\/2016\/07\/26\/storytelling\/\" target=\"_blank\">He has also attended<\/a><\/span> a different meeting on UN level which he repeatedly calls <span class=\"tooltips \" style=\"\" title=\"Opinions\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.uni-bremen.de\/aboriginalstudiesclasses\/2016\/07\/26\/opinions\/\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;very interesting&#8221;<\/a><\/span>. He explains the seating order of the different countries&#8217; governments and indigenous representatives to show their different attitudes.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>When the topic of NGOs comes up, L3 tells the class about a\u00a0<span class=\"tooltips \" style=\"\" title=\"Storytelling\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.uni-bremen.de\/aboriginalstudiesclasses\/2016\/07\/26\/storytelling\/\" target=\"_blank\">friend who created an NGO<\/a><\/span> to underline how much work and luck it includes and how difficult it can be to gain status with the UN.
