The anthropological research which I present on this blog was conducted in the frame of the self-study module for my degree.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;Making Knowledge Relevant: methods of teaching and learning in <\/strong><span class=\"tooltips \" style=\"\" title=\"What are Aboriginal Studies classes?\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.uni-bremen.de\/aboriginalstudiesclasses\/2016\/08\/10\/what-are-aboriginal-studies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Aboriginal Studies classes<\/strong><\/a><\/span><strong>&#8220;<\/strong> examines how the content of two classes taught by Aboriginal lecturers and tutors <strong>gains relevance for the students<\/strong>. In order to avoid othering I do not\u00a0compare these classes to any methods I encountered elsewhere in my educational career but rather consider them <strong>in their own right<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>With this blog I attempt to make the <strong><strong>process of my research<\/strong><\/strong> \u2013 from <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.uni-bremen.de\/aboriginalstudiesclasses\/about-the-research\/the-initial-idea\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">finding a research question<\/a> via <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.uni-bremen.de\/aboriginalstudiesclasses\/about-the-research\/ethical-requirements\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">receiving ethical approval<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.uni-bremen.de\/aboriginalstudiesclasses\/data\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">gathering<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.uni-bremen.de\/aboriginalstudiesclasses\/categories\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">working with data<\/a> up to <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.uni-bremen.de\/aboriginalstudiesclasses\/analysis\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">analysing my findings<\/a> \u2013 <strong><strong>accessible and understandable for everyone<\/strong><\/strong>.
